Practical Guidance.
Proven Experience.
Trusted Compliance.
Regulatory compliance is about more than meeting requirements. It is about protecting patients, safeguarding organizations, and building systems that withstand scrutiny.
For more than two decades, I have worked at the intersection of investigations, compliance, education, and regulatory oversight.
During thirteen years with the Drug Enforcement Administration, I served in investigative and supervisory leadership positions across multiple states and internationally, working with healthcare providers, manufacturers, distributors, pharmacies, regulatory agencies, and law enforcement organizations to strengthen compliance and prevent pharmaceutical diversion.
Today, through Ace's Regulatory Consulting, I help organizations navigate complex regulatory challenges with practical guidance built upon real-world experience.
Whether preparing for an inspection, strengthening a compliance program, evaluating internal controls, or responding to regulatory concerns, my goal remains the same: helping organizations operate confidently, responsibly, and in full compliance with applicable regulations.

Why I Started Ace's Regulatory Consulting
Throughout my career with the Drug Enforcement Administration, I always believed that education was just as important as enforcement.
One of the most rewarding parts of my career was working directly with DEA registrants, professional boards, universities, healthcare organizations, and industry groups to help them better understand the Controlled Substances Act and the regulations that govern their daily operations. I never viewed compliance as an "us versus them" relationship. I believed (and continue to believe), that protecting the public is most effective when regulators and industry work together toward the same goal.
We cannot simply enforce our way out of every problem.
Education, communication, collaboration, and preparation are equally important.
That philosophy ultimately inspired me to establish Ace's Regulatory Consulting.
I wanted the opportunity to spend even more time working alongside registrants, healthcare providers, manufacturers, distributors, pharmacies, and attorneys to help them understand regulatory expectations before problems occur. My objective has never been to simply identify deficiencies. It has always been to provide practical guidance, thoughtful solutions, and ongoing support that strengthen compliance while protecting both organizations and the communities they serve.
Today, Ace's Regulatory Consulting allows me to continue that mission by helping clients build stronger compliance programs, reduce regulatory risk, and confidently navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
Why My Experience Is Different
One question I am often asked is why I worked in so many different DEA offices throughout my career.
The answer is simple.
I wanted to continue challenging myself.
Many professionals spend their entire careers working within a single office or jurisdiction. I intentionally sought opportunities that exposed me to different regulatory environments, different industries, different investigative challenges, and different cultures.
Each assignment broadened my understanding of how federal regulations intersect with state laws, international regulations, healthcare operations, manufacturing, distribution, and law enforcement. Those experiences provided perspectives that simply cannot be gained from working in one location alone.
That commitment to continued learning eventually led me overseas to Bogotá, Colombia, where the DEA selected me to serve as its Diversion Control and precursor chemical subject matter expert for the Andean Region. Accepting that position also meant accepting another challenge—learning Spanish. Although I was not a native Spanish speaker, the DEA sent me to language school so I could effectively work alongside Colombian agencies and government officials.
Every assignment taught me something new.
Every challenge expanded my perspective.
Every experience strengthened the guidance I now provide to my clients.
